Picard Peanuts Ltd. ("Picard's", "we", "us") is a family-owned business at 1867 Windham Road 10, Windham Centre, Ontario N0E 2A0. We operate picardpeanuts.com and six Blue Barn stores in Ontario.

• Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses when you order, create an account, sign up for our newsletter or contact us.
• Order details: what you bought, when, the amounts paid and the shipping method.
• Account details: your saved addresses, order history and wishlist. Your password is stored by our store system in encrypted form and we cannot see it.
• Payment details: card payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• How you use the site: pages viewed, products added to your cart, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar tools (see below).

• To process, ship and support your orders, including order and shipping emails.
• To run your account, wishlist and back-in-stock alerts you ask for.
• To answer your questions and handle returns.
• To send newsletters and offers, only if you have agreed to receive them. We ask with an unticked box when you create an account or check out, or when you sign up for our newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also turn emails off in your account at any time.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it, and to measure our advertising.
• To prevent fraud and meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only what they need:

• Our payment processor, to take card payments.
• Shipping carriers and our shipping software, to deliver your order.
• Our website and store hosting providers.
• Our email provider, to send order emails and newsletters you signed up for.
• Google and Microsoft, for website analytics and advertising measurement.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We use cookies and similar tools that are needed for the site to work, such as keeping your cart and keeping you signed in.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used (for example where people click and scroll, with typed details hidden), and Google advertising tools to measure our ads. These collect information such as pages viewed and products added to the cart, linked to a random identifier rather than your name. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Some of our service providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to Canadian law.

We keep order records for as long as needed to support your purchase and as required for tax and accounting purposes. We keep your account until you ask us to close it, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe.

Under Canadian privacy law, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to how we use it, including closing your account. Contact us at contactus@picardpeanuts.com and we will respond within 30 days.

We protect your information with encrypted connections, access controls and trusted service providers. No system is completely secure, so please keep your account password private and let us know if you think your account has been misused.

Our website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
