Welcome to Picard Peanuts, Ontario’s original Virginia peanuts company. If you have any questions about returns or refunds on Picard Peanuts’ products, you’ve come to the right place!

Returns & Refunds

We are committed to our customer’s satisfaction. If for whatever reason you are unsatisfied with your order, please let us know at contactus@picardpeanuts.com.

You can return your order to us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund if the items delivered are defective, damaged or you’ve received the incorrect order. Some exclusions may apply.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund if:

  • The product was not purchased on picardpeanuts.com.
  • The product has been damaged from customer mishandling.
  • The product packing has been opened or is otherwise not intact.
  • The product has been repackaged.
  • The product has been damaged from heat outside our control
  • The 14-day refund window has passed.

We handle returns on a case by case basis, so please get in contact with us as soon as possible to discuss your issue.

We can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to change your order once it has been placed, as it will depend whether or not we’ve already fulfilled your order. If you realize after placing your order that you ordered the wrong quantity, please get in touch with us at contactus@picardpeanuts.com or (519) 426-6700 and we’ll see what we can do to help you.

All of our products are made in house, meaning that it’s very unlikely that items you order will be cancelled due to stock issues. If we don’t currently have stock, we will be able to make new stock in order to fulfil orders.

On the rare occasion that we need to cancel part or all of an order, our team will get in touch with you to update you on the situation and offer to replace or refund your missing items.

Shipping chocolate items in the summer can be difficult. In order to protect your order, we recommend that you are home when your package is due, so you can quickly take it inside and out of the hot sun. Additionally, if you won’t be home, we recommend that you ship your package to your office or other temperature-controlled locations to prevent melting.

Picard Peanuts takes as many precautions as we can, ensuring that the product is intact and solid before it leaves our facility. Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility or offer refunds for damage done to products due to warm weather while in the shipping stage.
